National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NCHMCT JEE 2020 in computer-based mode on August 29, 2020. Candidates could download NCHMCT JEE admit card in online mode from August 14 to August 29, 2020. NCHMCT JEE is a national level exam conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses in hospitality. Candidates could fill the NCHMCT JEE application form from January 1 to May 15, 2020 in online mode. Earlier the last date was April 30, 2020. Before filling the application form, it was mandatory for candidates to check the eligibility criteria of NCHMCT JEE 2020 to ensure that they are eligible to appear for the exam. Candidates could check the result for the same in online mode from September 07. NCHMCT has at least 71 NCHM JEE participating institutes that offer admission to candidates based on their performance in NCHMCT JEE. The participating institute includes 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 24 Private Institutes of Hotel Management, 25 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management and 01 Public Sector Undertaking. In 2019, a total number of candidates registered for the exam was 30, 722 at 100 centres in 49 cities of 27 states/UTs. Around 25473 candidates appeared for the exam.
What is NCHM JEE?
National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination or NCHMCT JEE (also known as NCHM JEE) is a national-level entrance exam conducted to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality and hotel administration programmes. Till 2018, National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, conducted NCHMCT JEE exam. However, from 2019 onwards, National Testing Agency (NTA) took over the charge to conduct NCHM JEE exam.
