The Maharashtra Common Entrance TEST or MH-CET/MAH-CET for short is the State Level entrance test for admission to MBA/MMS programs affiliated to Maharashtra State Universities. The Directorate for Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts this test and is followed by a common admission Process (CAP). In many ways, the MHCET exam is a gateway to esteemed top colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, N L Dalmiya, DSIMS, Dy Patil & many others in the state of Maharashtra.

The MH CET 2021 entrance exam for admission to 300+ Maharashtra B-schools is an online computer based exam of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) duration. The MH-CET exam consists of 200 questions in MCQ format.

Note: 15% to 35% seat allocation is given to All India candidates appearing in the MH-CET 2021 exam. Additionally, these candidates will also be offered admission on the basis of their scores in two All India MBA entrance exams (CAT and CMAT).

Post declaration of MH-CET 2021 result will take place in last week of March 2021 after which the DTE Maharashtra will start the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to allot the MBA/MMS seats in all the participating MBA colleges. This will take place from mid-May 2021 and will continue till the 1st week of June 2021. After the document verification process, the merit list would be declared. This will facilitate the B-school allotment process. Final Merit list is proposed to be announced in the second week of June 2021.

All the top MBA colleges in Maharashtra including JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya who are participating in CAP round, will offer admission in accordance with seat matrix and B-school allotment through DTE-CAP 2021.
