Students who have studied B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities which are recognized are also eligible

Pass Percentage

Gen/OBC Candidates - 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales 

SC/ST Candidates - 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale 

Passing Year

Not later than 2019. Final year students can apply and must furnish proof of passing by September 15, 2019

 

Note: Final year students have to furnish a certificate issued by the Head of institution where the candidate has studied.

Note: Conversion of scored marks from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not allowed.

NIMCET application form 2019 is expected to be available in online mode from the first week of March onwards. It can be filled till the last week of March. Candidates will have to register first and fill all the details properly. The steps to fill the application form of NIMCET 2019 are

Step 1 - Registration: Candidates must enter their e-mail ID along with the 10-digit mobile number. A mail will be sent to the candidates for validation and creation of a unique password. Candidates must click on the given link to do so.

Step 2 - Fill the Application Form: Candidates must next fill the personal and academic details. Marks/ grades must be entered in the given space. Mandatory fields should not be ignored. A total of three exam centers must be chosen in the order of preference.

Step 3 –  Uploading documents: Relevant documents such as proof of identity, proof of date of birth (SSLC/ 10th Marks Card), all other marks cards etc. and the Category/ Caste/ PwD certificate(s) as applicable have to be uploaded. They should be duly self-attested and scanned in a file with a maximum size 500 KB. In addition, a recent colour photograph (of size between 50 KB and 150 KB), signature (in royal blue/ black colour only of size between 50 KB and 150 KB) must also be uploaded.

Step 4 – Payment of the application fees: Fee payment is online only through net banking or Credit/Debit Cards.

Step 5 -  Submission of the application and download of printout:  After the payment of the application fee, candidates must submit the application form of NIMCET. Thereafter they are advised to download and save the soft copy of the submitted application for their reference.
