MAH HM CET

What is MAH HM CET?

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MAH HM CET in order to provide admission to candidates in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) programmes offered at bachelor's and master's levels.

MAH HM CET is the means through which admission is offered to candidates in all colleges/ universities offering BHMCT and MHMCT programmes which are approved and recognised by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to any of the non-agricultural university in Maharashtra State.

Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET) is an online entrance exam conducted at different cities across India. All candidates who are Indian nationals are eligible to apply for MAH HM CET 2020 exam. MAH HM CET 2020 have been declared for BHMCT and MHMCT course admissions. The exams are scheduled to be held in October.

MAH HM CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can go through the detailed eligibility criteria for MAH HM CET exam below.

MAH HM CET Eligibility Criteria for BHMCT

All candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned parameters meet MAH HM CET 2020 eligibility criteria for UG course admissions:

  • Candidates should be Indian nationals.
  • Candidates should pass Class XII from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).
  • Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams are also eligible to apply.

Note: The official website informs, "Aggregate marks mean the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects on which the class declaration is made in the particular Board from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination".

MAH HM CET Eligibility Criteria for MHMCT

All candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned parameters meet MAH HM CET 2020 eligibility criteria for PG course admissions:

  • Candidates should be Indian nationals.
  • Candidates should have cleared their Graduation with passing marks.

MAH HM CET 2020 Admission Process

Candidates need to go through the below-mentioned steps to appear for MAH HM CET 2020.

Step 1: Fill MAH HM CET Application Form

For MAH HM CET 2020 registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. After filling the , MAH HM CET 2020 application form candidates will be redirected to the payment gateway where they need to pay the application fee.

Candidates can pay MAH HM CET 2020 application fee in the online mode only via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking/ IMPS/ Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Reserved category candidates of Backward Class [SC, ST, VJDT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] & PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only

Rs 600

Once the fee is paid, candidates are recommended to take a print out of the application form and application fee receipt and keep for future reference.

Step 2: Download MAH HM CET Admit Card

Candidates can download admit card from the official website of DTE Maharashtra by using their registration number/roll number or password/date of birth.

Step 3: Appear for MAH HM CET Exam

Next, candidates need to appear for the hotel management entrance exam at the allotted test centre. MAH HM CET 2020 is an online exam comprising objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Step 4: Check MAH HM CET Result

Candidates can check their on the official website of DTE Maharashtra by entering their registration/ roll number.

Candidates qualifying the MAH HM CET exam will then be eligible to secure admission in hotel management courses offered at colleges in Maharashtra state.
